Margaret Goger-Cranston, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Michael Cranston, Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist. We are AASECT Certified Sex Therapists.
We brought together over 60 years experience in the field of behavioral health to create Goger-Cranston LLC in 2011. We provide counseling, coaching, professional consulting and psychotherapy, as well as sex therapy for adults as individuals, married and unmarried couples.

Margaret Goger-Cranston is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker, and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, as well as an Internal Family Systems (IFS) Level Two therapist. She is experienced in treating a variety of issues that come with living as an adult in the world, such as depression, anxiety, and loss. She specializes in individuals and couples' sexual concerns, relationship issues, ADHD in relationship, and gaining peace with internal conflicts and burdens.
Margaret Goger-Cranston was a weekly guest and the consulting therapist on 104.5 the Fox for over 6 years. She has been featured on local news (KWCH,KSCW and KSN) and quoted in national magazines (Smart Money) for her expertise on issues ranging from couples communication to sex in the media. She has presented at the annual conference for American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) and has presented on several occasions to Wichita State University Social Work Power Conferences.
Margaret Goger-Cranston has worked in mental health since 1989, where she started at Prairie View Hospital. She earned her MSW from University of Kansas School of Social Welfare where she was awarded the 1995 Margo Schultz Gordon Award. Her BSW is from Wichita State University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Margaret Goger-Cranston was honored with the Outstanding Alumni Award at the 2009 Wichita State University School of Social Work Annual Power Conference.
She is listed with IFS Institute as a Level Two Therapist, a Certified Sex Therapist and member of the American Association of Sex Educators Counselors and Therapist (AASECT), and a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
She is a mother and step mother of 3 wonderful grownups. She lives with Michael and their two dogs.
Michael Cranston, LCMFT, CST
I am dedicated to helping individuals and couples explore and develop a safe, fulfilling sexual life. It is my belief that good sex is the birthright of all human beings. In my work with couples I utilize the Gottman Method. I have openings for a select number of therapy and personal coaching clients for evening and weekend appointments. I accept BCBS and Aetna and also offer discounts for First Responders and Military, both active and retired.

As a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, in practice with his spouse, Margaret Goger-Cranston, an LSCSW and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, they offer a uniquely combined experience and gender differences to couples seeking a dynamic and intensive relationship therapy/coaching experience. Their work includes improving communication, desire differences, enhancing or revitalizing current sexual activity, as well as addressing problematic sexual behavior and partner support.
In addition to his collaborative work with Margaret, He sees individuals and couples for a variety of behavioral health concerns, as well as offering a weekly Men's Growth Group for adult males addressing problematic sexual behaviors.
Michael has 29 years of having been certified as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor, both in Kansas and nationally. In 2002, he began teaching as an adjunct faculty member for Kansas Wesleyan University’s behavioral science department. Michael began his therapy practice working in addictions in 1981; worked as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified Sex Therapist and Certified Addictions Counselor at Prairie View in Newton, Kansas for over 15 years. Michael is a graduate of the Masters program for Marriage and Family Therapy at Friends University, Wichita, Kansas.
