CREDENTIALS
As a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, in practice with his spouse, Margaret Goger-Cranston, an LSCSW and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, they offer a uniquely combined experience and gender differences to couples seeking a dynamic and intensive relationship therapy/coaching experience. Their work includes improving communication, desire differences, enhancing or revitalizing current sexual activity, as well as addressing problematic sexual behavior and partner support.
In addition to his collaborative work with Margaret, He sees individuals and couples for a variety of behavioral health concerns, as well as offering a weekly Men's Growth Group for adult males addressing problematic sexual behaviors.
HISTORY
Michael has 29 years of having been certified as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor, both in Kansas and nationally. In 2002, he began teaching as an adjunct faculty member for Kansas Wesleyan University’s behavioral science department. Michael began his therapy practice working in addictions in 1981; worked as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified Sex Therapist and Certified Addictions Counselor at Prairie View in Newton, Kansas for over 15 years. Michael is a graduate of the Masters program for Marriage and Family Therapy at Friends University, Wichita, Kansas.
